cover band Scary Uncle is looking for a new drummer

Its been a while since I have had to do this, but I am getting the word out now, we have some people helping us find a drummer, so hopefully this wont take long.  Hit me up if you are interested.  We do prefer someone who has some experience at the cover band thing, 21 or over obviously...but pretty much we are open to most suggestions, have a good drum kit, and can sell it on stage is a major plus.  Most of you guys have seen us at one point or another, we play about 4 to 6 times a month,  hit me up for any questions or inquiries

Wow.  You guys have to replace Danny Murphy.  That's going to be tough.  I've been out to see you guys a couple of times and kept thinking to myself "I wish we had that guy on drums."

Danny and Frank are both leaving actually, and there is no replacing either of them IMO, you pretty much just move on to the next guy, replacing guys is simply part of the gig as you continue to play music.  But we have a lot of shows booked between now and the end of October, and both of them are going to play the shows on the calander, so we have a few months to take our time, pick the best guy and hopefully be ready to roll out with them in November. Not really worried about it, I am sure there is somebody out there.

4 to 6 times a months = 2 to 3 weekends a month.  Chuck counts every night even if it is a Fri and Sat.  I wanted to explain that if someone was thinking 6 seperate shows a month which sounds like a lot.  

Also since Chuck has already spilled the beans I will let you know that Danny and I are leaving to start another band with another singer and bass player.  Let me say that our decision to leave is totally a selfish one on our part and has nothing to do with any member of Scary Uncle.  All are super players and super, easy to get along with guys.  They are going back to a 4 piece so the new drummer will actually make more money.

This was an insanely hard decision for us to make.  It took several weeks of soul searching.  We are keeping our friendships strong as this was about going in a different direction.  If I need someone to fill in for a show I can't make in my new band Adam will be the first guy I call.  Any drummer looking to make a little money would be wise to call Chuck!

let me say Frank I couldn't ask for a better group of guys than you and D. Murphy.  no drama, no drugs, just great playing and a few bud-light limes and jager-ade... again I appreciate the way you guys have handled everything, couldn't have gone any smoother. looks like everyone is going to get what they want out of this, cant ask for much more out of bandmates, sad to see it come to an end, I personally don't see the decision to leave as a selfish one, the point of all this is to be able to do what makes you happy, and not feel like you are trapped in a situation you no longer want to be in.

I only had 1 band that took things personally when I left the band and things have been sour between us since.

I still have no idea why.
